The Dinner is a 20-minute original comedy I wrote and directed in 2025.
Set over one increasingly unhinged family meal, it blends slapstick comedy, satire, and social chaos in a way only live theater can.
This piece marked my directorial debut—and my arrival as a storyteller with something to say.
About Venio
Venio Kustura is a versatile actor, director, and writer.
An immigrant from Croatia, he brings a powerful lens shaped by survival, imagination,
and cross-cultural storytelling.
Currently completing his BA in Theater Performance and TV/Film Writing, Venio is known for work that blends truth, boldness, and a touch of the surreal.
